Pillion Hanger/Pannier Issue

System case panniers install has it a snag, the plastic location dont fit on the rear pillion hangers, can someone advise what this part is off it a 1150 GSA part?

Thats got ...

... a bit missing. Should be longer and terminate in a plastic block that steadies the front of the pannier.

colin,looks like someone has cut down a standard 1150gs hanger.
probably to fit the adv alloy ones.

Thx for the replies had a closer look with a different perspective and yes there are indications a saw and paint have been in use.
