How long and how much of a faf is it to fit?
Where did you get that Stick ?
30 MINS. Straight forward.
It comes in bits, you have to build it first. That said, Once its put together, you could take it off or on the bike in 15. Its solid. Nice cubby hole for gloves, disc lock ect.

Thats the one from Motorrad Bohling i have available for £45, plus post,
after a voyage of discovery with delboy we are certain it won't work with the sw motech bracing bracket for the top box,
fits all non modified wc gs/gsa bikes, with or without grab rails, can't use it to mount top box with grab rails,
Photos in post 7,
Nice quick release modification Job, Stick,
Home made , ebay rejects and a few beers …..

Home made version 2 seconds with the key , and further 10 seconds to refit the seat , tripping over said cans ….wondering where the cover was , and another 10 secs to refit .. works for me .
I can't imagine any situation where its necessary for fast transition ?
Handy. But not essential.
But less screws fixings and other fiddly stuff to loose or bugger up in the process![]()
I like it a lot![]()
The downside, for me, would be that it doesn't allow access to the full storage space, such as it is, under the rear platform. I guess it would be possible to cut a hole in the bottom of the pillion seat base which stick used to create the fixing. However, that would mean that the compartment wouldn't be well sealed against the weather. I'm also not sure about the mechanical security of a Vario top box mounted on a removable plate.
On balance, I prefer my standard factory method of bolting the luggage platform down as I don't plan on carrying a pillion passenger.
