Pillion Seat Options

Hi all, I have a 2020 1250 TE with what I think are standard seats. No problem with them comfort wise, just the wife would like to sit higher.
I noticed whilst on the ferry last year that most other GS's had a much thicker pillion seat, some were heated and some not, don't need, or have, the heated option, would these thicker pillion seats be the 'comfort' option?
I can track down a used one if I know what I'm looking for.

Have a look on Nippy Norman. I think they have a policy on seats that if you don’t like you can return for a full refund.

I think the ones you saw were the ‘comfort’ version. They are a little thicker for sure.

Cheers, I'll look out for a used comfort pillion seat, I assume the later 1200 seats are the same too?

I had a 21 1250 GS with heated comfort seat, my wife hated it and said it was the most uncomfortable bike I've ever owned. (Bike trips over for her if i couldn't sort it ).
I bought a standard pillion seat and she found that a lot better, i think the comfort seat was maybe too soft. I appreciate you're after raising the height but be aware the comfort seat may throw in another issue. I think im right in saying the GSA seat will fit the GS, maybe an option . The boss says the GSA heated seat is better than both of the GS seats we had.
For what its worth i doubt any stock seat will raise the height much. Maybe worth looking at getting the seat modified. S.A.S Autotrim on Facebook is very popular with Himalayan owners, a lot wanting a higher seat.
