They don't make the S1 pro anymore though do they? All the Schuberths I've seen (except the racing helmets) all have ratchet I believe
Edit:- Just been on the Schuberth website and seen they do still do the S1 pro. They did change it a year ago or so as I know the lining's changed. Maybe the older one had a ratchet, or maybe my memory's going. The C3 definately has ratchet.

Definitely some of the Shuberth range have a ratchet which I dont like either, or those seat belt type catches.

Have you tried contacting Schuberth direct to see if they do one for the C2?
I didn't. When the dealer couldn't get it, I presumed they didn't make them but hoped there'd be a spurious or after market one available but now that you've suggested it. I will have a look. Thanks.

My Arai XD-3 has distortion WITHOUT pinlock 
I've had no problem with pinlocks in any of my road lids, and thoroughly recomend them, but, it just didn't seem to work in my Tour X. I guess the shape of the lid gives a more flexed visor that is more prone to distortion.
got the new arai chaser and pinlock. works well ....ish. less misting up than old helmet, but I still get condensation around nose area. small but beats what I had. If 25% open, cant see but that might be the visor in general. Cannot get rid of consdensation in visor..and it is new...

Check the silicone seal is tight at the bottom (well all round really), It's a bit of a nack, but flatten the visor with elbow and hand on one arm, and re position the pinlock with the other hand. Get the seal, errr, sealed and it'll work a treat.
