Whats the pleural of Toyota Yaris?
I overtook 2 in a row today (:bow) and want to describe it properly when boasting about it to my work colleagues - I fear appearing foolish not knowing the proper collective term.
This site has helped me through some tough problems - I know you wont let me down.

. .the Japanese were never much good at Latin - singular TOYOTUM,
plural - TOYOTA, education, education, education!

This thread should be closed as it's only a matter of time 'till some old eijit comes along with the tale of Renault and Ford collaborating on a new "ladies" car. It will be based on the Clio and the Tarus but they can't agree a name for it - so close the thread now.
On second thoughts don't bother; it will be hard enough to find.

In Dublin they would be called Yarissessessessess.........:augie
(I will get me coat)

*puts serious hat on and prepares to be shot down by Mr P and Mr Schtum....*

Yaris- Yarii, possibly Yarus {pr} -ooss

However, a more elegant way around it would be to dodge the issue altogther....." today, I overtook two Toyota Yaris hatchbacks"

I rarely use it correctly, but I do love English :thumb2
