As one of his customers, I'd consider not using him if he started lashing out on unnecessary bling like this......two screwdrivers does the job perfectly and I know he's not ramping up his prices to buy silly tools

Screwdrivers.
Yes, they do the job perfectly.
They also aren't just a single use tool, they undo screws etc . Perfect if your taking them on tour with you. Much better than taking a one use only specific tool.

Screwdrivers, the new multitool. Just think how much you can charge for those.
