That's all very well, but, whilst some of those routes are through good tank country, it'll be slow going through the forests where a well-organised militia will slow progress to a crawl. Timing is everything, winters can be harsh there particularly if lines of supply are over-extended.

Going through Poland in September. Anybody know anything about the former soviet missile base at Borne Sulinowo or the ghost town at Klomino, is there anything there worth detouring for ? My base for a few nights is going to be Torun.
