Stopping over at Bridge of Cally Hotel which, for me, will be about 330 miles, bit shorter for Mark

Passed there twice today, bloody roasting it is.

Staying at friends northern Cumbria overnight 325 roasting miles 28degrees here earlier . Glad the beers cold . Up to Perth tomorrow easy run .

Hi guys I’m leaving from Glenrothes on Friday at 12.30 ish, thought about taking wringlieowlie,s route, if anyone is available to join me.

Out of here about 1pm Thursday.
Destination Kielder. Then on the road to campsite by 8:30 Friday.

Off later today. Stopping with a mate in Allendale, Northunberland tomorrow night, then up to Portsoy on Friday.
First proper trip since 2019 and I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve!

Dug out the sat nav (Zumo 550) last night to find its dead as a nit, even after an overnight charge. Too late to fix it, so its old school navigation with a paper map, just like when I started touring Europe in the 80s.

I'm leaving work early today at 15:30 for about a 5 hour drive home so I'm ready to head to Portsoy midday tomorrow!

The weather forecast is thunder storms..... although the suns coming up as I speak
So hopefully the weather people are wrong again.
