Still, the Tennents' lager was well kept and pretty good. Can you take your beer from the Shore Inn down to the harbour?
When I was there a couple of weeks ago, there was a strict queuing system and the chap in front of me got the very last pint of draft "real" ale!Still, the Tennents' lager was well kept and pretty good.
Packing the GS today and heading up via Cairn o Mount on Friday. That's a road I've not ridden for donkeys years!
The Shore Inn is on the harbour, the seawall is part of their outdoor seating
I'm very disappointed in you Pete!
It's "donkey's years".
Really, Pete you must try harder.
Looking forward to a couple of beers and a few laughs though! Or donkeys'? Or just donks? Anyway, I've not been there for ages!Looking forward to a couple of beers and a few laughs though!

Gents, just thinking about over-all numbers / weather conditions and the space available in the harbour pubs being limited - both in the Station and the Shore Inn should a number of us seek to go for a drink at the same time.
There is a bowling club in Portsoy which has a larger bar and a function suite / hall type area which may serve our purposes if a large number of us fancy a libation inside somewhere.
Please let me know the collective thought on this potential and I can get in touch with my contact and see if we can impose on them during the weekend.
