Not too sure what section to put this in
But am off with Pavey and the crew in a few weeks time for the Portugese paradise trip

anyone done it? is it worth it? tell me all from a consumer POV

I'm sure you'll have a blast with Pavey. :thumb

That being said, unlike the UK, it's fill your boots time, as there are trails everywhere and I found last Spring that you really can ride almost anywhere you like, provided the trail isn't marked "privado" (private). So you could just turn up with a few mates and just ride. ;)

Fabulous place Portugal, very friendly locals and definately worth a visit.

reassuring!
having only done Level 1 (Level 2 booked for June) I am a little nervous about my ability but have been assured by Lel that I should be fine. Event though in on a f800 (just a touch on the small side for me at 6'4" to be comfy standing on the pegs all day!)

you never know i might be the first to keep a blog of the trip (according to google there are none so far) will def put a write up though

What bikes you guys on?
me and my best mate are there with his family and are both on f800s even though we would both rather 1200s (as we both own them)

taking the BA flights out too so have to somehow find a way to the hotel, can i ask a favour? if you are around for the briefing in the afternoon, can you brief us as we get to hotel? pint in it for ya

We are flying out on the Saturday afternoon and then returning on the Sunday, thought we might as well make the most of it. We are booked on the 650's as that's all they had left however my experience of off roading is that the smaller the better in most cases, so I'm sure a 650 will be more than enough for me and my limited skills :)

6. Because of lower prices, the official high profits. And agents only for sales. Lower than the official 70% discount price. Rosetta Stone. The best learning software.

7. Lower than the discount you know, more effective than you think Rosetta Stone, the official agent.

ok then, ignoring the spam above
i have been meaning to write the trip up in detail and havnt quite got round to it yet (have made a start offline but not finished yet will let you know when i have)

basically, it was a fantastic week, really really enjoyed it.

My off road experience up until that point had been Level 1 with ORS and a couple of light easy trails in North Hants. SO hardly an expert (far far from it - or at least that is what i feel and am trying to convey). The same goes with for my mate i went with (we did level 1 together)

with the above in mind, we joined the least experienced group. It was good, we were by pure luck, seemingly, the most confident riders in the group (other than the guides of course) and honestly, think we should've been a group higher.

But the week was great fun, and i am seriously considering going again next year (by which time ill of done level 2 and hopefully more off roading myself)
