Possible K1300 GT purchase

Hello all, a somewhat old topic but still valid, I've just bough a 2010 variant:)

I now have a difficult decision to make at some point! Bought the K1300 the other week - absolutely superb engine and love the 4 cylinder power (plus has a decent seat). But love my RT twin cam too. Do I need both - nope.....

Probably keep licence for longer if you sold the K ??

I bought mine in Darlington then immediately rode it home……) I'm 6'5" and adjusted the gear lever and raised the bars, the bike is fast, comfy and lovely to ride.

I'm 6' 4" tall, raise the seat and bars adjust the gear lever and away you go. I rode mine to Hereford from Cromarty in on day (530 miles each way) stopping only for food and petrol. I was tired but still able to walk when I arrived. Did the same on way home as well.

You’ve shrunk and inch between July and August? There wont be much left of you soon. :D

Well, believe it or not I got mine back from the mechanic 3 weeks ago!( Never tell your mechanic that theres "no rush") Everything that was or could turn rusty has been powder coated. Front and rear suspension stripped and serviced with some chap in London...plus the springs were powder coated too. Final drive stripped, re-greased and powder coated. Wheels also powder coated, and decided on a deep gold colour. Once we get some decent weather I will fit all the luggage and extras and post a few pics.
