...but what to do?

I'll have to sell the mint KTM 640 enduro, probably the very nice low mileage Africa Twin and/or the Rallye bike....just got too many bikes to ride and can't afford to keep em all.

Really all I need is the Husaberg 450, my beloved 1150 and the 'new/2nd hand' one:confused:

decisions:blast

Get rid of the Rallye bike, you've said before its like wearing a dead man's shoes (not that 'he's dead mind :D) it has a history and will always be 'his bike'.

And if a GS is overkill for those of us who only ever ride to a cafe or pub what's riding a a fully loaded and prepped Dakar bike if its not in a Desert racing :nenau

Happy to help :D

It's a choice only you can make, :augie
Unless of course, this thread brings queues of people waving pound notes at you. :D

Well I've not said that:confused: and if I did imply that it was long before it became 'my bike'.... so sorry, you couldn't be further from the truth, I've spent many more hours and several thousand miles more on that bike than anyone else......just didn't spend £30k on it:P

Hmmmmm doesn't sound like the marriage is over on that one so I'd better try another one....

Those Africa Twins, just an over-bloated plastic pig poor mans GS, a shite paint job but a decent headlight isn't it :nenau :augie :D

You're right this time:thumb...........standard headlight is brilliant:D

No, I know which bike I'm going to get and it's half the price of the Triumph Poseur, it's just the awfull decisions about selling my others:(

Spit it out man - what is the new bike?!

As for the bikes you have to sell - I'd be happy to look after them for you :augie

Ok, so you want a long distance trail bike that's not too complicated, has very good suspension, decent fuel range, a bit of wind protection, doesn't cost the earth, can be used for general trail riding, doesn't weigh a ton, can carry luggage...etc.

Name that bike:aidan

XChallenge, does all those things for me

Fuel and wind protection can be sorted

Timpo is selling his Tenere for the XChallenge:augie

Nope, there was a clue in it costing half of the trumpet.......I believe there is only one(ish) bike that fits the bill:augie
