Can I ask, is a zumo 660 the same all over europe or do you have to be careful buying in another country?

The hardware and firmware will be the same. What differs by country will be the mapping software installed. For example 660s bought from the States will be loaded with North America mapping.

OK, but in Europe are they all the same?

I think the only issue could possibly be with the warranty.

I used to run a US import StreetPilot 2720, Garmin would sell me European mapping but were reluctant to offer any support.

Well looking at the support page of the Garmin UK website it looks like you'd be supported by the UK operation anyway

I very much doubt if mapping upgrades would be a problem, just buy the lifetime update card from Handtec or Pentagon GPS. Cheaper than Garmin who sell the same for £75.

Last time i was in andorra i priced a 60csx and they couldnt get anywhere near UK prices,since the Euro andorran prices,to me,seem to have risen alot unless you're buying fags,beer or cheese,as bike gear had risen along with electrical goods,i was a little taken back as one of my intentions of going there was for the price of gear,but if you do find a deal there,ask if you get a european garantee

Best price was 475 Euros in Andorra so I didn't bother. I did get a Shoei Qwest Overt for 299 Euros though

Do the NOH 660 still come with a Garmin warranty and has the 660 got a problem that they fix, are the NOH units warranty units that have had issues fixed that you may have problems with in a new unit.
