Post Your Zumo 660 Best Price here

Never did get round to buying a 660 as my trusty 2720 Garmin just keeps going. Prices don't seem to have changed much over the past year or so (unlike most other technology) now that sales of 660's have presumably slowed down (evident by all the newly overhalled NOH units being advertised) whats the best price anyone has found the Zumo 660 for recently?

£375.99 including VAT for NOH Zumo 660

Hmm - still think they are over priced and not quite perfect. Whats that motorcyle connection lead all about then?? Hardly bike friendly is it. At least one should have an option of power only without having to cut a new one up.

But I would like a bigger screen than my Streetpilot 2720 has, now that I am getting old and can't see so well :rob

Just need a bargain and a G4 Scala Headset to go with it. The cost of all that kit would pay for a week skiing :D

NOH = Newly OverHauled = Refurb

However, I wouldn't have a problem with buying one. They're as good as new and some say even better as they've each been tested rather than the batch tests the new ones get... that's hearsay though.

Warranty, new mapping, numaps guarantee and all parts in the box as a new one.

I agree with you 100%.............. I've always ...only bought the NEW units, yet my recent NEW purchase was faulty (touchscreen not working) and it was sent back to Garmin within 2 days of opening the NEW package and switching the unit on :blast

So got the replacement unit yesterday afternoon.......... big label on it to say "Refurbished Unit"

So don't pay the extra for a new unit... NOH unit will save you money and you can rest assured it would have been a fully tested unit, whereas the sealed units could probably have faults....

In the past I have given an explanation on NOH and what it meant from my involvement .. I shall post link thread.

My only concern these days is be careful where you buy, the market has changed in past few years, many good and trusted names have given up and gone. The big boys dominate and some operate a bedroom web empire and take orders for a-n-other Co to drop ship, so the do not hold stock, do not handle orders, do not arrange delivery etc .. they only take their order margin, another fact of life

Looking for a replacement 660 after dropping mine. Anyone know of a good deal on a new (not reconditioned) one plus lifetime updates? I reckon if I buy both from the same place might be able to save myself the cost of a bottle of wine :)

cheers

Get hold of Garmin - they will replace it for £110 or thereabouts.
