Posting pictures

Since becoming a subscribed member I cannot post pictures. I take a direct link from Photobucket and paste it into a pop up V Bulletin box which appears requesting a URL http:// when I select post picture.
Before subscribing the pop up was different but the same paste operation worked every time. Any idea how to post pictures now?

did you remove the http:/// before you pasted?

sure there is a thread on this if you search, however.

go to photobucket
hover your mouse over the photo you want to post, a wee box will pop out of the bottom of the photo

click "in" the bit that says Image code (in the wee rectangular bit to the right that has the letters [htm or something like that
this will highlight the link to the image.

right click on the bit you have highlighted and click "copy"

come on here and where you want the picture to appear
click the cursor to that place and press ctrl (and hold it down) and V

something close to the text below will appear

which will lead to a piccie appearing (preview post before posting to be sure to be sure)

here I have modified a picture ( My bike on the day I collected it) to 105 Kb and uploaded it using the attachment manager in the additional options menue. The I have attached it using the paper clip logo on the message board

Thanks for your encouragement, Ill keep trying the Photobucket method as it is much easier.

Trying Photobucket again

All of your comments were correct.
1 By pasting into the pop up box http:// appears twice,
2 As a none subscriber I used to insert a direct link, now the IMG box is the one to paste.
