Pretty mush what happens to most engines if you remove the co2 pot it'll start running richer.

u mean itl switch to a default mode? a bit richer is better anyway?
i know the 1150,s are weak, are the 1100.s?
so with the pot fitted you can run weaker than if its removed?
 
It runs in a default mode.. with the CO at 1.8% and the Motronic will show a 1111 CO pot fault. Not something to lose much sleep over... many import bikes are out there being ridden like this.. where the owner has got rid of the original exhaust and fitted a NON-Cat one. If you want to fix that... simply fit a CO pot.. the wiring is there waiting to receive one.
