I have a 105 watt Powerlet 'Rapid FIRe' heated jacket. At full power (on a 12v circuit) it will draw 8.75 amps.

On my previous bike I added a socket directly to the battery for this (positioned just near the seat).

Are there any issues I should consider before doing the same on a 2019 1250?

It is the only powered accessory I anticipate using so reluctant to install anything unnecessarily complicated.

If you add an aux power socket, fused directly across the battery or even via an electronic fuse block, you will be ok. It's only when you use the BMW Hella sockets that are limited to 5 amps, that you'll run into problems.

Not sure about powerlet heated clothing but I have a Keiss and managed to get a lead that fits the optimate input so only need for one lead from the battery

if its possible with your jacket that's the way to do it fused optimate lead from battery and then jacket to that
