Hi I read all the problems regarding front cover corrosion so back in 2006 removed the plastic cover threw away the stupid moisture trap sponge and sprayed the whole area with black waxoil underseal hey presto.Removed the cover the other day and wiped the the coating off with white spirit and the whole area is as good as new.So re-applied the waxoil and resecured the plastic cover and removed the excess from around the plastic cover,first couple of run,s a bit of excess drips down but easily cleaned off.A lot less hassle than replacing the front cover ,and messing about attempting to repaint in situ.Simple,s
