Yes I must be a time waster last time I wasted his time I bought a new GSA that's why he has invited me to ride the new model.

And for those of us not on Farcebook???
Why the hell can't they or BMW just publish it on their bloody website. Why all the secrecy or the need to go on farkinbook?if bmw have a demo avalable it is in there intrest for people to ride it, if it is good people will buy it, lots of bikes are brought on the scheme and the rider never owns the thing anyway so the price means nowt if you can afford the monthly payment w/c on the drive.
glad i took the triumph 1200 explorer out for a demo...i thought it would be really good....
have/do what you want, you are along time looking at the lid.
only ever paid cash in full for my bikes dealers hate it, one let slip that people that pay by this method are known in the trade as dinosaurs, to which i replyed i might be a dinosaur but i i am a dinosaur that owns a bike not bmw's bitch with an agreement

Well the new 2013 Kawasaki ZX636 (with ABS) is £10k![]()
house prices are falling fast south of the river thenI bought a pound of sausages on tuesday, cost me the best part of three fecking pounds fifty. Mind you, they tasted very nice as i sat in my half a million pound house eating them.

I wont be buying one for a few years
Did you ride the mono g/s prior to buying your current GSA? BMW should have a hover bike by the time you're buying![]()

Bike prices are ridiculous imho. I haven't had a pay rise in 7 years, so whichever way, bikes that have risen with inflation are reletively more expensive than they were 7 years ago.
With the tightening economy, surely cheaper, more economical bikes would be better. There are far more cheap cars available now than ever to complement the dearer cars. There are lots of expensive bikes, but not many good cheap ones.
I'd take a dacia duster for 10k on a rtw trip before I chose a new GS
Lighter, more powerful etc etc, just more expense. Even the bandit type bikes are feckin dear considering their old school technology. They should be able to manufacture an old oil cooled suzi motor for 35 quid now surely![]()

Yes. I agree. Why the hell can't they or BMW just publish it on their bloody website. Why all the secrecy or the need to go on farkinbook?

Shouldn't you be in the airhead section

PS Does a Guzzi count as an airhead?![]()
You're right
Before you start that we're old whingers that can't afford to stump up for one
I can.............I choose not to![]()

JB - Can you lend me £13815 ? I want to buy a new bike![]()

It'll keep prices of the finest ever GS's - the 1150's
Only £35 out then![]()
More like £2455 out.You're right
When you think about it ......£13815 + Luggage costs is barmy for a bike with ABS/Active suspension etc
However plenty will be sold
Before you start that we're old whingers that can't afford to stump up for one
I can.............I choose not to![]()
Now that is funny Johnny!!
It's simple, buy the standard one with ABS at £11395, which is only £2010 more than the R1100GS cost in December 1996 (£9285 otr)
