How does it differ from a quick shifter as it says up and down shifts??
Only thing I miss from my K1300r is the quick shifter..........

Maybe this is BMW 'answer to the clunky gear change on the earl GS MODELS like mine ,just wish they would come up with a fix soon .

why the fuck would any right minded person pay to have such a thing fitted on a GS?
All I will say is if you have had a bike with a quick shifter you would want one on your GS!!

I tried it on a K1300S and it was a right laugh, so it'd probably be fun on the GS too

I thought the same as you till I bought an S1000rr which came with one. Now whatever bike I buy, if there is one available, I'll get one. They are really that good.seems very unlikely, but as i have no experience with one and you apparently have, i'll take your word for it

Ye 3 K1300R's since 2009 love them. You get some magic sounds when on full attack!!
Just not sure what this new system is as that only worked on up shifts??

Unlike the gear change assist the Pro version does not require you to change gear using the clutch lever OR the foot control. So if you wish the gear lever can be removed completely.
