Hi people, can someone provide a picture or location where i can get a fitting instructions for BMW F800GS Aluminum Pannier Frame.

Just got the frame from BMW-Wollaston, no bloody manual. I've started to take my bike back-end apart & it would seem I've got to nearly fully disassemble it fully..?!

Much appreciated Paddy

The only bits that need to come off are the original hand grip frame, the 4 bolts behind the seat, and the plastic cover they fit through, if I remember correctly.

I had to do a bit of persuasion to get the crossbar to fit properly, it seemed to be twisted - if I hadn't been in such a hurry to fit it, I'd have sent it back, but with the use of a heavy vise and brute force i managed to get everything to line up properly. It was a palaver to do, since it's "fit the crossbar, replace the plastic cover, fit the two main subframes" (the main subframes should be bolted together loosely before you fit them on the bike) every time you trial fit them.

I can't find the instruction leaflet I had, or I'd post that to you, sorry.

Good luck!

Go back to the dealer and ask them for the manual, then. They should have supplied it as part of the kit.

It's Saturday and only 9:35 - they should be open till noon, anyway...

Could this be it:

Very true Freeloader, as i suspected the good people here handled the issue within 48hours.

Topman McBikeRider, you are a star, i imagine that's info from the F800 Service DVD. Got to buy one myself.

*Two-thumbs up*
