Picked it up yesterday and this is probably the cleanest that it will ever be. Apart from the 12 months tax that I wangled out of the dealer, I also bargained for the 6000 mile service to be included. This, however, turned up the fact that there was a bit of the tread damaged on the rear tyre, so.... they replaced that with a brand new one. Life is good ! 
Of course the new tyre had to be scuffed in for a 100 miles and it was a nice day yesterday, so I relished in aaaallllllllll tthhhhhaaaaaaattttt tttoooorrrrqqqqqqquuuueee round the Yorkshire Dales (unfortuneately somebody has to live here).
Top marks to BMW insurance who were very quick off the starting blocks - top service and £160 cheaper than E-Bike. A big thank you to Ben at Allan Jeffries for his help and a great deal on a great bike. No time for anymore - the sun is shining and the road awaits...
