My 14 yr old has bought an iPod Touch for his music etc and yes you've guessed it, its now down to me to get the soddin thing to work. :blast I must admit at first I thought it was a waste of money, but having seen what it can do I can imagine myself borrowing it for bike trips.

We have downloaded and installed iTunes :thumb2 and have even managed to get some songs onto it, but how the hell do we get songs downloaded to the iPod? :nenau

Kids eh. Who'd have em?

when you plug the ipod into your computer, the device should appear in the sidebar on the LHS. you may need to register or authorise the device to that computer first though.

as default, i think sync will try and download everything in itunes into the ipod straight after connection. this can be disabled in itunes preferences. thereafter, you could transfer required music to a playlist and choose to sync just that. click the Sync button to start that process.
