i'm stumped - i press enter,enter and no home waypoint ?

the screens really dark

i can't see it properly in the sun

the contrast doesn't seem to work.

the buttons don't do anything

what's wrong ?

This "sun" of which you speak - what is that exactly ?

Take your sunglasses off ....and switch it on

Which GPS is it ? I think the GPSV screen gets darker and darker as the batteries get weaker so maybe just new batteries would be a place to start.

Only to be used as a last resort in case your GPS V is locked up or doing strange shit and you cannot start it normally. In doing this you will erase ALL data - routes - waypoints and everything else previously saved in the unit . You need to take the unit outside and allow it to relocate after perfroming this reset.


Press and Hold the following buttons in the following order. You must end up with all three buttons held in simultaneously - once the unit kicks into life release all three.

1) ZOOM OUT
2) QUIT
3) ON
