Problems with ActiveSync

Hi,

Got a new mobile which I need to sync with my PC. Also want to update the ROM which means connecting to the PC.

Activesync is being a pain and does not work with the device. I have tried the company laptop and home PC - both running XP and cannot get Activesync to "see" the device.

Any hints?
