It's got to have a 7kg battery hanging off it

The brackets have got to be chopped down yet also I will lighten it all up by cutting some holes in the alloy box, I want to keep it solid until its mounted.

Hopefully I will have all the sub frame braced and welded up tomorrow then I can push on with the fibre glass seat base. I've been on to Tony Archer today he's going to make the seat up.
 
Battery box made today

Those studs look extremely close to the uprights - almost as though the nuts won't go on but by all means tell me it's an illusion? Even if they do will they sit flat, considering you have a radius in the angle too ?
 
I've drilled and tapped the brackets so they don't need nuts i don't want to be fiddling around trying to locate them....and yes they are close

a lot better than the weekends version, I will get it cleaned up a with a bit of luck start on the seat base at the weekend

Now mark it up now then I will cut the fibre glass up into manageable lengths

Tune back tomorrow to see whats its dried like , if it ever does, no beer for me tonight spaced with the fumes
