Not overly keen on these heat shields they look to new

Decided they must go, purchased a length of 1/2 inch stainless bar

Machines 4 lugs to be welded on the exhaust pipes so I can make a couple of drilled heat shields with out jubilee clips

Well time to think about some heat shields, got myself a piece of 2" stainless steel

Sliced it in 2

Chopped it out into a basic shape

And tried it for size

Next thing is to decide what to do with it shape wise and drill or slots
