anyone near to Glasgow who can plug a tyre for me in my garage, cut a long story short tyre has done 1000miles only, bikes just past its 3rd anniversary so no recovery, i have a new tyre en route however i need to get bike to Paisley for fitting (dealer no help at all) and Im worried it will totally deflate en route, I made mistake of trying to fix it with a dynaplug but couldnt get the tool far enough in to the tyre, was a smallish nail that done the damage.

I've never used s dynaplug, but surely you have to push the 'inserter' all the way through into the tyre?
You'll need to ream it out first before you try to fit the plug. Kits normally come with the reamer to do it.

If it’s a small hole screw a self tapper into it. That’s a screw. Should get u to the dealer. JJH
If it’s only a small pice of damage just get it repaired. Seems a shame to waste a tyer with 1000 miles on it. JJH

Not going to help your problem so suggest to follow above advice but the Dynaplug is useless. I had the same and the tool is not strong enough to get the plug through the tyre. Bin it and get a “plug and go” system. Always have one on board now

Personally no, but my understanding is that they are favourites with the couriers as they take so little time to install, which is a good thing if it's pissing it down or you're stuck on a hard shoulder somewhere

I guess the next question then is recommend me a good biker size repair kit for punctures. The one in the video comes in at £ 30 and seems to be quite compact. What other recommendations are there?
