Hi,

I want to put music onto an SD card/s for our trip to Europe. I'm hoping some of you knowledgeable guys will be able to answer a couple of questions.

If I just put in a new SD card will it already be formatted? If not is this an easy process?

What's the maximum size card the Zumo will cope with? I'm thinking of using 1 GB cards.

Is it possible to load music onto a card that is not in the Zumo at the time? IE through a card reader.

Cheers Val.

Put it in a card reader, open "My Computer" and right click on the card and select format and choose FAT32

Get a card as big as you like

Yes

See above plus read the sticky :)

Lot quicker to load the music onto the card using a card reader. BTW just in case you have a laptop, there may be already a card slot built in, there is on my year old Toshiba :)

Making sure it's in MP3 format ;)
