Hi, Any body have any suggestions? bike started to use fuel at twice the usual rate, would not tickover and no power, air box has alot of fuel in it. Now the bike will not start at all, probably still due to over fueling problem so severe, tried resetting motronic. Just going now to put standard chip back in incase that has broken down.

Standard chip installed now still running like a pile of s*&t, drained the litre of fuel out of air box now so it runs again in the loosest of terms. ???

Have you had the tank off? if so....

An unseated throttle cable on one side. Here's what it looks like on an 1150:

Yes checked that at side of the road when it started on the west coast of Ireland. Thanks anyway. Could the TPS be knackered or is that just an on/off switch or is it a pot?

Unlikely that it's the TPS, I think.
More likely that it's either the oil temperature sensor or air temperature sensor fooling the Motronic into thinking that the engine's still cold. Dealer would plug the diagnostic tool into it and prolly tell him what the trouble is.

Cheers, I was trying to do it on the cheap, never mind, looks like it's a dealer job then thanks for all replies.

Up date.

Found the problem inlet valves not opening on R/H pot, exhaust valves are good, just about to take the head off (it's got to come off now, exhaust stud sheared Doh!) not sure why the push rod has dropped out or what else has caused it. Any advice always appreciated on stud extraction and the fault with the valves.
Regards

Invest in a proper stud extraction kit or take it to a local workshop, good luck. Post what you find, I have not heard of this b4.
