Qucik Release connectors

Took my tank off today to fit a replacement ABS. Job pretty much done - but when I started the bike up again it is running like a pig - Sounds to me like I may have only one cylinder firing.
Does anyone know if Quick release fittings have a certain way they line up and go back together - I am trying to figure our what could be causing the problem. and not sdur what else it could be.

throttle cables moved out of position ? they can get moved up out of t heir seats very easily.
