QUEST backlight

Just a quick one. When I turn the quest on, the backlight
( daylight setting ) will only come on when I go to settings and turn it on. Is there a way to have it come on as soon as you turn the device on ? Thanks

Not as far as I know, but the quickest way is to push the power button again....then it'll come on to your default level for whatever period you set it for.

After that (assuming you set it to go off at all) it'll come on at every 'event' warning or junction.

On the Quest the back light timeout is only active when running on batteries. If you have the unit powered by the vehicle the back light will stay on once you have turned the light on initialy.

Thanks for the replies. Still getting my head round all the functions. The power button is the best option. Cheers
