Hi, I bought my Quest 1 sometime ago..... I have it on my 1100s all plumbed in and working.

I would sometimes just like to use it on another bike or simply in my pocket. I can only plug the earphones in via the cable set up on the bike cradle.... Is there a method or cable out there to simply connect earphones direct to Quest unit??

Thanks for your help

Stuart

Its not clear if when using on another bike you want it powered ?

The internal li-on cell should give healthy daily life, so another u-bolt for second bike and then disconnect din style lead from the Garmin cradle and move arm and cradle across to bike 2.

To get audio out from an unpowered Quest is possible, but you'll need to have a RAM GA15 cradle and one of these .. ACQ-25 or ACQ-35 (number denotes 2.5mm or 3.5mm jack socket)

If you just want to put the Quest in your pocket undo the itsy bitsy torque screw on the bottom of your wall charger cradle and replace the small panel with RAM-man's ACQ-35/25 - obviously for biking purposes you will need his GA-15 cradle
