Hello friends ...

... last week I set the valves in my R1200GS'04 (...here!!!) and I am very happy! ....everything works fine!!!!

.... this week I tried to synchronize the cylinders with the assistance of a Twinmax! I have done everything describes the instructions book and I have found a difference in the right cylinder about 1.8 to the Scala of Twinmax!

oops.gif
... and now comes the question ! I know that i have to regulate a screw on the injection...

....which side should be set?.... right side or the left?

..................

... and why? ...can anybody help me?

...thank you very much!...Ioannis!

You adjust what ever side the sync is out so in your case if you are 1.8 out on the right cylinder i.e (B) then adjust the right throttle sync to bring it back to zero (0) setting on the twin max.

There's a video that might help.

Go to http://www.bmwmc.net, then click on training>video service procedures>R1100 R1150RT-P Video Training->R 4V Throttle Sync

The trainer doesn't use a twinmax, but the procedure is still basically the same.
