Anyone in the know? Has anyone fitted a R1150 centre stand to a 1150 GS?
Im running a 17 inch front wheel and the centre stand is too tall at the moment, especially when fully loaded with luggage. I dont want to cut the original stand.

The standard shocks on the GS are longer than R1150R. The R1150R centre stand will be too short on a GS with 17” wheels. When on the stand, both wheels will touch the ground and the bike can roll forwards or backwards. The GS centre stand is the way to go but it can be quite a strain lifting the bike onto the stand. Either get used to it or mod the GS stand.

Mine's on std GS centre & side stands & runs with 17" wheels front & back.
