Quick couplings

Hello,
Anyone can recommend me a good pair of metal quick couplings? I wanna install them on my 2002 GS because I am having a hard time everytime I need to remove the fuel tank.
Would appreciate if you could also give me a feedback if they have worked for you ok (I have heard of couplings generating fuel feed problems).

Motorworks ( link at the top of the page) sell them.... I retro fitted a pair to a 2000 bike some years ago, no problems...

2 x B-QC4-B-400 quick connect body
2 x B-QC4-D-400 quick connect stem

But I cant find (only stainless steel) which Hose Connector should I be going for.
Any help with this?

May want to check the price first though, they're kinda expensive. The other option may be the way to go.. If you're minted Swagelok are the best...

The CPC quick disconects are the industry standard, and are used by Touratw@t Wonderlick etc
If you have acces to RS componenents (Or their Greek equivilent) they are much cheaper, and they come in a range of platics as well as s/steel

Got them and installed them yesterday, nice shipping and service from the fellows at beemerboneyard, easy installation (except those already fitted stupid BMW old connectors, which where replaced as well) and a relief being able to take off the tank in presto time!

Has anybody used these guys recently? I've sent two emails to them & have not had a response.

I'm planning on replacing the OEM QD's on my '03 bike with the shiny metal versions cos of all these breakages I've been reading about. Question is, do I need to change all connections or just the 'male' connections, which I believe are the ones prone to cracking/snapping off. If so then I can order a pair from Motorworks...

Has anyone else used the motorworks ones and are they any good, they look plastic in the picture.

Are there any other places to get reasonably priced stainless ones?

I had great service from Beemerboneyard with their S/S ones, they even supplied 1/2 a doz extra O rings.
