At long last, temps have started to rise and sun has come out

So, with a couple of hours to spare this afternoon I headed out into the Dales

And...............I was really rusty on a big bike, having not ridden a GSA for 6 months

I was crap, all the wrong lines, braking points and throttle/gear synchronicity...I was complete pants

I wobbled around corners like an old duffer on a C90:blast

Still things improved and by the time I'd done 100 miles and on my way home things were finally coming together:comfort

Still a bit of snow about above Masham, stopped for a tea refresher at Manor Cafe - nobody about and finally a photo opportunity at Aysgarth Falls

The first half of the ride I hated, but finally found that sweet spot on the way home:D

JB, Careful now that bike looks too nice to get all salty.
Planning to go AWOL Friday as no work on. Weather permitting, maybe another Dales Trip or even a run up to Lake District . Mmmm.

It's good to hear it's not just me who has times like that.
Some days the bike & I just don't seem to see eye to eye (rather like myself & the wife).
And it's always my fault (rather like myself & the wife).

Nice pics, lovely looking bike.

I thought it was just me too, but we're not alone :)

I must confess that I had to pull over early on in the ride, a couple of times to have a chat with myself & also adjust the rear Wilbers (too much damping & preload), so it was perfect, because the rear end was jarring & skipping a bit

On the way home things were beginning to gel better

Few more rides to get better - so will go carefully for a bit

Good to have ou back JB:thumb:beerjug: I have days like that as well.:comfort
