R 1300 GS leaning too much on the side stand?

Is this side stand lean only a problem on 1300s without adaptive ride height?.
Mine has ARH & never found the lean a particular problem.
All other bikes I've had over many years you always have to be careful where you choose to park and don't park with the left of the bike on a downward slope.

Do BMW fit different length side stands to 1300s with & without ARH ?.
It’s also a matter if one went with a sport suspension or standard. But there are at least 4 different side stands and they change the angle with which they reach the ground, they’re also differently shaped at the feet section due to that same reason. That could explain why, although we get inquires about the product from owners of these 4 different models.

It definitely leans over more than my 1250,I need my wife to give me a shove when loaded with luggage or even on the slightest of cambers .

There certainly are four different length side stands between the R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure. According to BMW.

Here is a picture Showing two different length side stands that fit to the R1300GS Adventure.

You will clearly see the difference near the foot part.

My R1300GS Adventure definitely leans over far too much.
With the foot extended 20 mm it still leans too far over on my bike.

Mine is the top type. Not sure if the other stand shown would do the job. Unfortunately, there about £160.

So are BMW fitting the incorrect length stands to some bikes?.

Difficult to tell. Plus it’s down to individual interpretation.

My bike leans over too far. Pretty obvious, when you need to get it upright. Especially if fully loaded and or on a negative camber.
Bike is the comfort version. ie. low.
With my Side stand raised 20mm with its club foot it’s acceptable. Probably better raised 25-30mm in total.

I now have the Alt Rider Adjustable Side Stand. I will be gluing some 5 mm rubber mat to the base for more height and prevent it marking our drive.

Not so easy on the 1300 as a puck mounted like that would hit the main stand.

With the fancy suspension system, my 1300GSA needed a ridiculous 35mm extra height modification to raise the bike up into something resembling a 'normal' angle.
