Pleased to say that after the many troubles with my R1100 "project"....fuel tank hoses pissing everywhere, dead battery, burnt out wiring loom, wrong cat relay installed and general bad condition, she is now on the road running nicely with throttles synched and valve clearances done.
But...the final item not working is the RID which I miss terribly, no clock, no gear indicator, no oil temp, no fuel display. It was working when I first bought the bike, but 4 mths later and after all the work....something is wrong.
But it's still not bloody working....any other ideas?
PS. It might turn out that I take it off and if anyone on here is willing...I can pay the postage to send it to you next time you have your tank off and test it for me?

- So far I have....had the unit out and opened it, no moisture or damage.
- Checked the wiring, not burnt.
- Checked the connector plug and loom end, good contacts.
- Checked the tank sender, fitted correctly and operates low fuel light ok! which is odd?
- Lights up with dash lights, so has power to it.
But it's still not bloody working....any other ideas?
