First world problem :-) I have replaced the L shaped circlips on the studs that the seat uses to mount onto the bike many times. They never stay on, they are either vibrating off or there is some movement and the circles pop off.

When you lift the seat the seat can move rearwards. Think the seat base may have been replaced at some point with a sibernik part.

There doesn't seem to be enough space to put a proper circlip on. I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue and found a solution.

My solution (I never had the L-shaped ones for a project a while back) was to measure accurately the diameter of the clip groove and insert a normal circlip from a box of miscellaneous sizes (Lidl specials). My grooves were not worn so the circlips fitted well and are still on. A bit fiddly to fit, if I remember correctly. But haven't fallen off. I think 'normal' circlips are stronger than the L-shaped ones.
