I have a driveshaft left over after having sold my Airhead. Whilst I still owned the bike, I was due to go on a trip to Siberia and the gearbox was stripped to change the output shaft bearing prior to leaving. I thought it sensible to put a new driveshaft in as I had no idea how much life was left in the old one and I didn't relish it failing in the middle of Russia. I had put (I guess) 20,000 miles on it (the old one) and have no idea how old it was prior to me owning the bike. My question is what is the going rate to sell it and is there a market? It was not exhibiting any signs of failure prior to being removed but how much life is left – I have no idea.
