Lack of petrol explain for the low fuel light. What could be the problem after i top up to full tank the RID(no bar at all) is not indicating anything? It just blank off(RID) after refuelling.

The float arm inside the tank may have become stuck. If you check that you may as well change the fuel filter while you're inside there, and put on some quick release joints in the fuel lines.
Is the float arm located just under the filler cap?let just assume it is really struck in the low position(after about 300km from full tank, the rid will only came out.),would'nt my fuel low light be on even i top up to full gas?

i have the same problem...but after a few liters have been used it will show full....if you ever find out whats wrong, please share it...
i stripped the fuel sender unit to get it fixed...The arm of the sender on mine had buckled somehow and was travelling along an arc which meant at low levels it would connect and high levels it would not...
The fuel sender is located inside the tank. You need an empty tank to get at it so run it as low as possible before attempting it...Get a spare rubber seal too..
Perhaps someone could post a pic of the breakdown of it...
Once out use a magnifying glass to observe the working of the sender unit...I simply bent mine back down to connect through the full range.
Hi david306,thank you fr your enlightenment.I try it out and post the findings probably over the weekends.Like David says,it would be great if someone have pictures of how the fuel level sender work.
