Hi all.
Need help please ... I have long term project 97' rt , bike was crashed so I rebuild must bike and shortly be starting working on brakes . Bike was idle for 3-4 years so I'm not sure if abs unit wirkin or not so my plan remove all piping and unit and get direct hose from master cylinders to calipers, so my question :
When I remove unit do I have to change wiring for brake lights ?

No. Your bike is an 1100, which has the simple abs system, the brake lights have nothing at all to do with the working of the abs system, unlike the servo/abs bikes from 2003 inwards .

Your system should work as normal no matter how long it's stood.

Thanks Steptoe . Appreciate your input . It's just bike was seating outside for so ling all the fluid can be contaminated inside unit and not sure if crash was abs related , and to be honest I prefer direct brakes.
But good to hear I can leave wiring as is , so I can put abs back if needed.

why would you even think that the crash was ABS related? if it fails on that model you are left with normal none ABS brakes and a couple of red flashing lights, why not just flush the brakes through and try them out? you will probably benefit from new braided brake lines as the old one will be pretty old.

Alrite Kennyc .
Yeah I just might see what happen, on top all that I powdercoat brake disc carriers but couldn't take abs ring off so that might effect front sensor :o
