r1150gs drive shaft problem

Any one had any problems with the drive shaft? After a long jouney i broke down and found oil leaking from the drive shaft, its back in the dealers now possibly a bearing. Any ideas ?

Not had a problem myself but I know about it, its caused by water gettig into the shaft assy either by riding thru fords or in heavy rain where the water can get past the rubber seal and then it rusts the bearing causing complete bearing failure.

I checked mine after I found out and it was dry so I sprayed librally with WD40 and greased the seal with vaseline.
