Hi I have a 2021 GS TE. It had its running in service yesterday. When cleaning under the drive shaft housing, I noticed a hole with what appears to have a rubber flap inside it, towards the rear, roughly where the centre stand rubber stop also sits.

My question is should there be a bung of some sort (to prevent water ingress etc,) & has this possibly been pushed up inside?

Also is this something that may have been removed during the service?

..or is it a legitimate drain hole?

Any advice / pics of how it should look would be much appreciated?

Thx

This how mine is, its a 2020 GS TE. Seems like they've changed it.

Just checked my Aug 21 GSA and there was a no hole. Mine is the same as the one in post #2. Was the bike new or second hand? Maybe the previous owner made a hole in it. Pretty sure someone on here was toying with the idea not long back.

Here is mine a 71 plate GSA TE

Thank you all for taking the time to comment and provide the pics. My question is answered - clearly the newer GSs now have a drain hole and the 'plug' is just sitting a little deep within the hole.
