I know this is not something new.. however.. just purchased 4 X 12v 1.2w green bulbs from halfords pt. no.286G they are a little bit smaller than the standard clear bulbs but they do fit. They cost £1.69 each and look, well.. green

I like that, my old 250 Piaggio scooter had blue lights around the clocks and they looked good as well.

Do halfords do blue ones?

I might convert :D

blue bulbs

well the six halfords stores that i visited only sold green. There is bound to be a store somewhere that sell blue lights. I also tried blue paint on the original bulbs, or you could try nail varnish, both work, it`s getting the right shade that suits you. nick

Yes, it's such a bitch trying to find the right shade of nail polish to go with your leathers ......

Bugger! Ah well, back to the drawing board to modify the BMW1150GHearse (TM)

Not a problem with a pair of Cajas fitted. And aren't yours already black?? I like to see a man who plans ahead.

And now I've got a pure black Corbin seat and baglux tank cover.

If I can just find some way to keep the black top hat on the top of the helmet I'll be fine. The damn crepe band keeps catching the wind...

My inspiration is, of course, Harold and Maude

For blue,I can recommend Rimmel 262 'Fuel' ...or Bourjois 18 'Bleu Magnetique'.

I`ve no idea if they`re any good on instrument lamps,though. :D :D :P :P

wattage

think they might be around 1.6 but now covered in paint, dont think it is as high as 3, no info in owners handbook as far as i can see. nick

Yep oe are 3W have checked, do the 1.2W give enought light?

enough light

they appear to be ok in the garage with the lights off at night, but have not tried them on the road at night and in the rain, this test may just be a little tricky, as i`ve had a word... no rain for 6 months.. :D nick
