R1150GS Resctricted

I take it thus is just a complete waste of time and money? i see F1international list a kit for the 1150 but will this make the bike 33hbp or does it bring it into the pwr/weight ratio?

also has anone got experience with one of these restricted?

Its a waste of space. For such a heavy bike to be only 33bhp is mental. Better just get a F650 and restrict that.

The 850 was I believe brought into being with restriction in mind.. same weight as the 1100.. and not much lighter than the 1150. I doubt that the 1150 would react favourably to restriction... if it did. then why bring out the 850 in the first place?

thats what i have, restricted f650 dakar but just want move to something as like to change bikes

yes heard the 850 was designed for EU market and restriction.

i just want newer bike.

ah well might be time look at the new 800gs too just they dear as new out
