Thanks Johnny you’ve made up my mind for me, I was going to fit QD’s to my newly acquired 1100gs but I will now stick with the fixed lines and a couple of simple hose clamps in the tool roll, far less to go wrong. Enjoy the rest of the trip on that beautOring on QD connection

What grease do you use?Absolutely nothing wrong with good quality quick disconnects!
They actually make life a LOT easier. You don’t need to empty the tank to remove it.
Put a smear of the correct grease on the seal every time you uncouple and they’ll last for years.
Plus, how much room does a couple of spare new seals take up?
