Hi can anyone suggest the value of my gs on a2000 with 40000 miles fsh in good condition. Looking to either sell or trade In for a 1200 adv at local garage. Cheers

i was reffering to 3k for trade in. i wouldnt sell it private for less than £3.5 k as the bike is really clean.

I traded my 2000W with 50k on the clock a year ago for a year old S10. I imagine I could've got more if I went down the private sale route. However, if you are buying a used bike you may find it is not available once you have the readies in your hand. Plus you have the awful business of dealing with the general public coming to view the bike and mess you around. Doing the deal to have delivery "next Tuesday" and avoid any hassle is worth several hundred quid in itself.

3.5k for a 40,000 2000 model

I think it'd have to be minter than a minty thing for that. I bought a straight X plate for £2200, not mint but only 20k miles. With the Verns panniers and TT trinkets I've fitted I'd guess it's worth £3200 max (I know I got it cheap).

£3k is more realistic for a very tidy W reg with that mileage. 1200s are now coming in at £4500 ish, for a 54 plate so 1150 values are dropping imho.

Hmm you could be right but seem to be priced around that price up here. Plus mine has the y piece, Remus end can, risers and mra screen and full luggage hence thinking around the 3.5k mark. Not mint but fairly close when given good clean
