Hi all,

Getting some pretty mean vibration coming through the pegs on the GS.
It relates to the engine speed, in any gear and in neutral (so I'm guessing not the gearbox?).

Had a search on here, suggestions so far are the throttle body sync, valve clearances and rocker end play.
Any other ideas? Could any of those create a really noticeable vibration? I commute for half an hour in the morning, by the time I'm at work I have sore ankles and can't feel my feet...

Hope you lovely people can help!

Rob

So the pegs are really vibrating when you just rev the engine? I would have thought you would hear if the engine was running rough enough to make that happen. The pegs are connected directly to the engine/gearbox so that has to be the source in that case. Clutch in/out the same? Weird

Check the valve clearances just to be sure that one hasn't closed up. Also the obvious, cable not unseated at one of the throttle bodies.
